We are excited to introduce the new Dacia Jogger camper kit—the fastest and easiest way to convert your Dacia Jogger into a camper in just seconds, thanks to its removable, plug-and-play design.

The Dacia Lodgy, available from 2012 to 2022, came in several trims and limited editions, with varying levels of equipment. However, its interior dimensions remained consistent throughout its production, even as engine options and accessories improved over the years.

In 2022, Dacia launched the Jogger, as the successor to the Lodgy, also replacing the Dacia Dokker to cover both vehicle categories.

As mentioned earlier, the Dacia Jogger may not be the most ideal base if you are looking for a full camper van experience, due to certain limitations. However:

• ✅ It offers an affordable daily vehicle with up to 7 seats.

• ✅ It provides the flexibility to convert into a camper when needed.

• ✅ It's not the top camper on the market, but it competes very well with other M-segment vans like the Dacia Dokker, Citroën Berlingo or Peugeot Rifter.

• ✅ With a slightly longer bed length compared to these models, the Jogger holds its ground in the camper segment.

As shown in our video, the Jogger does have some limitations, such as the lack of an indoor table. Still, apart from this feature, the rest of the camper equipment can be easily adapted, making it a highly versatile option.

Materials & Pricing (2025 Design)

The Dacia Jogger & Lodgy camper kit can be built using different materials, all offering similar performance with some key differences.

1. Natural Poplar Plywood (€650 with mattress pack included)

Properties & color:

• Very light tone, almost white, with subtle wood grain.

• The lightest option: a camper module for a Jogger/Lodgy or Berlingo weighs around 30 kg, making it easy to handle.

• Moisture-resistant (hydrofuge): not fully waterproof, but highly resistant to humidity and splashes.

• 15 mm thickness.

• Very durable—difficult to splinter or break.

• Pro: the larger the module, the greater the price and weight advantage.

• Con: the wood is somewhat soft; it won't splinter or break easily, but it can leave marks if, for example, you sit on it with keys in your pocket.

2. Natural Phenolic Plywood (€650 with mattress pack included)

Properties & color:

• Medium to light natural wood tone with visible grain.

• 15 mm thickness.

• Lightweight yet strong, with a rustic, cabin-style appearance.

• Slightly heavier than poplar, weighing around 40 kg for a full module.

• Phenolic treated (waterproof): wood can get wet without swelling or rotting, thanks to the treatment between the layers.

• Pro: more resistant to scratches and marks compared to poplar.

• Con: the most porous of the three materials.

3. HPL Phenolic Plywood (Coachbuilder Type) (€700 with mattress pack included)

Properties & color:

• Very dark brown, almost black.

• 15 mm thickness.

• The most resistant and durable of all three materials.

• Fully phenolic treated → waterproof inside and outside.

• HPL anti-adhesive surface – dirt doesn't stick.

• The easiest material to clean and maintain.

• Pro: premium durability and long-term resistance.

• Con: the heaviest of the three, though still considered lightweight compared to standard furniture materials.

💡 Summary:

• Poplar plywood → best lightweight and economical option.

• Natural phenolic plywood → rustic look, waterproof, more resistant.

• HPL phenolic plywood → premium finish, fully waterproof, easiest to clean.

Key Features of the Dacia Jogger & Lodgy Camper Kit

Includes a pull-out stove drawer, independent trunk, multi-height table, and optional compressor fridge drawer—designed for smart, compact camping setup.

The Dacia Jogger & Lodgy camper kit is designed with practical and space-saving solutions to maximize comfort and usability:

• A custom pull-out drawer designed to fit a Campingaz stove (1 burner or larger).

• Behind the drawer, an independent trunk with a top lid for extra storage.

• A multi-height table located in the center, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, as shown in the video.

Left-side trunk module

On the left side, the kit includes a trunk with top and front lid. Based on our experience, we recommend this dual-opening design, as it optimizes space usage.

• It allows for the storage of a water container for an outdoor shower or even a portable toilet (Potti).

• Our suggestion: place the Potti in the table compartment, and once the kit is unfolded, move it to the front of the vehicle when needed (e.g., at mealtime). This way, the left trunk remains free for water or additional equipment.

Optional double-drawer system

A double-drawer configuration is also possible. While it looks attractive in photos, in practice it reduces usable space significantly.

• It also creates extra leverage on the runners in the long term. To counter this, we use reinforced runners capable of supporting 30–40 kg.

Dedicated fridge drawer

If you plan to add a portable compressor fridge, we recommend installing a special sliding fridge drawer, specifically designed for this purpose (see video for example).

• Behind it, an independent storage space with a top lid.

• The top lid doubles as an outdoor table, thanks to built-in profile slots.

• On the left side, a large trunk with top and front lid. We recommend this dual-opening design, as it maximizes storage efficiency and can hold a water container for an outdoor shower, a portable toilet (Potti) or even a compressor fridge.

• A double-drawer setup is possible at a slightly higher cost, but we don't recommend it, as it reduces usable space. Over time, the leverage of full-extension drawers can also be an issue, though we use reinforced runners supporting 30–40 kg.

Aesthetics & Durability

We value the visual harmony of our furniture with the vehicle interior. That's why we introduced the new Pearl White series with a dark grey mattress pack, based on customer feedback.
However, above all, we prioritize strength and longevity: with proper care, the camper kit will often outlast the vehicle itself.

• A dedicated space is provided to store the table leg and removable bed supports, so they remain safely secured inside the trunk without rattling while driving.

• Once unfolded, the camper kit distributes its weight across three support points, carefully tested to avoid any damage to the vehicle:

  1. The main camper module, the largest structural element, located in the trunk.

  2. The first fold-out section, resting on the seats—either directly or with a foldable leg.

  3. The second fold-out section, supported by removable legs, which also have their own storage space inside the module.

This 3-point weight system ensures the kit stays solid and compact at all times. The vehicle seats remain fully protected, which answers one of the most common customer questions. In fact, rather than causing damage, the design helps protect the seats.
