Made-to-Measure Camper Furniture Kits for the Dacia Dokker

We specialize in creating custom camper furniture kits, and one of our favorite modules is undoubtedly the Dacia Dokker Camper, the Romanian star from the Renault Group.

From its launch in 2012 until 2021, the Dacia Dokker had several limited editions and equipment variations, but its interior dimensions have always remained the same.

Although discontinued in 2021, the Dacia Dokker remains one of the most sought-after vans in Europe, especially in Spain. It was replaced by the Dacia Jogger (also available on our website), which is not a direct replacement but rather a hybrid between the Dokker and the Lodgy.

Versatile Camper Conversion Kit for Dacia Dokker

Our removable, self-install camper kits allow you to convert any Dacia Dokker into a camper in seconds. They are highly versatile, letting you maintain all 5 seats fully operational.

• No homologation required: the kits are legally considered cargo, and can even pass vehicle inspections.

• When not in use, the furniture and mattress pack remain folded inside the trunk, allowing the use of the original parcel shelf. This way, rear visibility is preserved and the contents of the trunk remain hidden.

Materials for the Dacia Dokker Camper Furniture Kit

The Camper Furniture Kit for Dacia Dokker is available in different materials, each with similar properties but unique characteristics. Starting from €600 including the mattress pack in the new 2025 design.

Poplar Plywood – €650 with mattress pack included

• Very light color, close to white, with subtle wood grain.

• Approx. 30–35 kg for a Dacia Dokker kit.

• Easy to handle, water-resistant (hydrophobic), but not fully waterproof.

• 15 mm thickness.

• Advantages: Very resistant, difficult to chip or break.

• Disadvantage: Not 100% waterproof, although very resistant to moisture.

Natural Wood Phenolic Plywood – €650 with mattress pack included

• Medium to light natural wood color with visible grain.

• Lightweight, durable, rustic look, ideal for a cabin-like feel.

• 15 mm thickness.

• Advantages: Waterproof, does not swell or rot. Phenolic treatment is inside the wood layers.

• Disadvantage: More porous compared to other materials.

Phenolic HPL Coachbuilder Plywood – €700 with mattress pack included

• Very dark brown, almost black color.

• 15 mm thickness.

• Advantages: The strongest and most durable of all three, waterproof inside and outside, HPL anti-stick surface, and the easiest to clean.

• Disadvantage: Heavier than the other two, but still considered lightweight.

Features of the Dacia Dokker Camper Furniture Kit

The Dacia Dokker Camper Furniture Kit includes a custom pull-out drawer designed for a Campingaz stove (1 burner or larger). Behind the drawer, there is an independent storage trunk with a top lid.

In the center, it comes with a multi-height table, usable both inside and outside. Inside the van, the table can be positioned for dining mode or for sofa/hammock mode – clearly shown in the demo video.

On the left side, the kit includes a storage trunk with both top and front openings. Based on our experience, this dual-access design is the most practical, allowing you to store a water container for an outdoor shower or even a portable WC (Potti).

👉 Our recommendation: place the WC in the table compartment and move it to the front of the van during mealtimes, keeping the left trunk free for water or other gear.

The kit can also be built with double drawers, but we do not recommend it. While it may look attractive in photos, in practice it reduces usable storage space significantly. Additionally, full-extension drawers create leverage stress over time. To avoid this, we use reinforced drawer slides capable of holding 30–40 kg, but in most cases a trunk system is more efficient.

✅ Exception: If you want to equip a portable compressor fridge, then we do recommend a special sliding fridge drawer, designed specifically for this purpose – as shown in the video.

Design, Durability & Dimensions of the Dacia Dokker Camper Furniture Kit

We value the aesthetics of our camper furniture kits and the harmony of colors with the vehicle interior. That is why, following customer requests, our new 2025 design includes dark grey mattress packs.

However, while style is important, for us the top priority is strength and durability. Our kits are designed to be solid, compact and long-lasting, built to withstand years of use – often outlasting the vehicle itself.

Dimensions of the Dacia Dokker Camper Furniture Kit:

• Width: 114 cm without mattress pack / 120 cm with mattress pack

• Depth (folded): 88 cm, with all 5 seats fully operational

• Height: 36 cm

• Bed length: 187 cm (extendable to 190 cm if required)

The mattress pack is tailor-made for each model and designed in multiple pieces to optimize dining mode, lounge setup and hammock position.

Structure & Weight Distribution of the Dacia Dokker Camper Modules

In all of our Dacia Dokker camper modules, there is a dedicated space to store the table leg and bed legs, keeping them securely in place to avoid movement while driving. Everything fits neatly inside the trunk area.

Once unfolded, our Dacia Dokker Camper Furniture Kits distribute the weight across three key support points, thoroughly tested to ensure safety and durability:

1. The main camper module structure, the largest and most solid part.

2. The first fold-out section, which rests either directly on the seats or with a foldable leg.

3. The second fold-out section, supported by removable legs, which also have a dedicated storage space inside the module.

This system ensures the weight is evenly distributed, keeping the kit stable, compact, and solid. The vehicle's seats remain fully protected and undamaged – a common concern from customers. In fact, the seats help provide extra support to the structure.
