• Water-resistant (hydrophobic), but not fully waterproof

• 15 mm thickness

• Advantages: very resistant, difficult to chip or break, extremely lightweight

• Disadvantage: not 100% waterproof, although it has very good resistance to moisture

Natural Wood Phenolic Plywood – €650 with mattress pack included

• Medium to light natural wood tone with visible grain

• Lightweight and durable, with a rustic, cabin-like look inside the van

• 15 mm thickness

• Advantages: waterproof core, does not swell or rot; the phenolic treatment is applied between the inner layers of the wood

• Disadvantage: it is more porous than the HPL option, so the surface texture is slightly more "open", although this does not affect its structural strength

Phenolic HPL Coachbuilder Plywood – €700 with mattress pack included

• Very dark brown, almost black, with a premium, professional finish

• 15 mm thickness

• Advantages:

  • The strongest and most durable of the three materials

  • Waterproof inside and outside, with full phenolic protection

  • HPL anti-stick surface, making it the easiest to clean

  • Ideal for intensive, long-term use, rentals or full-time vanlife

• Disadvantage: slightly heavier than the other two materials, but still within the lightweight plywood category, especially considering the durability and protection it offers in a Dacia Dokker camper conversion.

The Dacia Dokker Camper Furniture Kit is designed as a compact, modular camper box that makes the most of the available space in this small van camper conversion.

The main module includes a custom pull-out kitchen drawer designed for a Campingaz stove (1 burner or larger). Behind this drawer there is an independent storage trunk with a top-opening lid, ideal for food, cooking gear or travel equipment.

In the centre, the kit features a multi-height table that can be used both inside and outside the van. Inside the Dacia Dokker mini camper, the table can be positioned in:

• Dining mode, to eat comfortably inside the vehicle

• Lounge / hammock mode, creating a relaxed sofa-style setup – clearly shown in the demo video

On the left side, the Dacia Dokker camper box includes a storage trunk with both top and front openings. From our experience, this dual-access design is the most practical solution, as it allows you to:

• Store a water container for an outdoor 12V shower

• Carry a portable WC (Potti)

• Keep important items easily accessible from inside and outside the van

👉 Our recommendation:
Use the central table compartment to store the portable WC, and move it to the front area of the van when needed (for example, at night or during mealtimes). This way, you keep the left trunk free for a water tank, shower equipment or extra camping gear, maximising the practicality of your Dacia Dokker camper conversion.

The kit can be built with double rear drawers, but we generally do not recommend this option. While a double-drawer setup may look attractive in photos, in real-world use it:

• Reduces the usable storage volume significantly (more wood, more slides, less space)

• Increases the lever effect on the drawer slides over time, especially with full-extension systems

To minimise this, when we do install drawers we use reinforced full-extension slides capable of supporting 30–40 kg, but in most cases a trunk-based storage system is more efficient, durable and versatile.

✅ Exception – compressor fridge:
If you want to equip a portable compressor fridge in your Dacia Dokker camper kit, then we do recommend a special sliding fridge drawer, designed specifically for that purpose. In these cases we build a made-to-measure fridge compartment with a slide-out drawer, as shown in the demo video, so you can access your compact compressor fridge easily from the rear of the van.
