• The lightest option of all; a camper module for a Mercedes Citan / T-Class weighs approx. 30 kg, making it extremely easy to handle.

• Hydrofuge (resistant to humidity) and has good water resistance, though not 100% waterproof.

• Thickness: 15 mm.

• Very resistant and difficult to splinter or break.

Pros: Best price-quality ratio, especially for larger camper furniture kits.
Cons: The wood is softer, so it may get marked if you sit on sharp objects like keys.

• Phenolic Natural Wood Plywood (€650 with mattress pack included)

Properties and color:

• Medium to light natural wood tone with visible grain.

• Thickness: 15 mm.

• Lightweight and strong, with a rustic style — ideal if you like a cabin-like camper interior.

• Heavier than poplar (approx. 40 kg for a Mercedes Citan / T-Class module), but also more durable and resistant to marks.

• Phenolic treated, meaning fully waterproof: the wood gets wet but won't swell or rot.

Pros: Waterproof and sturdy with a rustic look.
Cons: More porous than other materials.

• HPL Phenolic Plywood (€700 with mattress pack included)

Properties and color:

• Dark brown, almost black.

• Thickness: 15 mm.

• The most resistant and durable camper material we offer.

• Phenolic treated inside and outside = completely waterproof.

• HPL (anti-adhesive) finish makes it the easiest to clean.

Pros: Premium quality, maximum resistance, and long durability.
Cons: The heaviest option of the three, although still within the "lightweight material" category.

Mercedes Citan / T-Class Camper Furniture — Layout & Features

Custom kitchen drawer, independent storage chest, multi-height table, and optimized left-side trunk space.

The Mercedes Citan / T-Class Camper Furniture Kit comes with a custom-built pull-out drawer designed for a Campingaz stove (1 burner or larger), plus an independent storage box behind it with a convenient top lid.

At the center of the kit, you'll find a versatile height-adjustable table system that works both inside and outside the vehicle. Indoors, the table easily converts between dining mode and lounge/sofa mode, as clearly shown in our demonstration video.

On the left side, the kit includes a large storage chest with both top and front access. Based on our experience, we strongly recommend this double-opening design, since it maximizes usable space. This compartment is ideal for carrying a water container for a 12V portable shower, or even a portable toilet (Potti).
💡 Tip: The Potti is best stored in the table compartment and moved to the front of the vehicle when needed, keeping the left chest available for water tanks or camping gear.

A double-drawer configuration is also possible, but we do not recommend it. While it may look attractive in photos, in practice it reduces storage capacity significantly, and full-extension drawer slides create long-term leverage stress. For customers who require this option, we use reinforced heavy-duty slides rated for 30–40 kg.

The only exception where we recommend an additional sliding drawer is for a portable compressor fridge. In that case, we provide a dedicated fridge drawer system, as also shown in the video.

In general, the Mercedes Citan / T-Class Camper Kit measures 117 cm wide without the mattress pack and 120 cm wide with the mattress pack. The depth varies depending on the generation of the Mercedes Citan, as explained in the previous section. The bed length is 1.87 m across all versions, and it can be extended up to 1.90 m on request.

The mattress pack is custom-made for each version and designed in separate pieces to optimize its use in dining mode, lounge mode, or hammock mode.
