It's moisture-resistant (hydrofuge), meaning it resists humidity well — not fully waterproof, but durable and easy to handle.

• Thickness: 15 mm

• Advantages: Very light, strong, hard to chip or crack, affordable for larger kits.

• Downsides: The surface is slightly soft and can show marks (e.g., keys or metal objects).

Natural Wood Phenolic Plywood (Approx. €850 with Mattress Pack)

A mid-light natural wood tone with visible grain and a rustic finish. It's slightly heavier than poplar but also more impact-resistant, giving a warm wood-cabin feel.

• Thickness: 15 mm

• Advantages: Waterproof (phenolic-treated between layers), doesn't swell or rot when wet, long-lasting.

• Downsides: Slightly porous texture, a bit heavier (around 40 kg for a medium van).

HPL Phenolic Plywood – "Carpenter's Grade" (Approx. €900 with Mattress Pack)

A dark brown, almost black plywood — the most durable and premium option. Designed for maximum resistance, waterproofing, and long-term use.
It features HPL coating (anti-adherent surface) that's easy to clean and built for intensive everyday use.

• Thickness: 15 mm

• Advantages: Waterproof inside and out, scratch-resistant, easy to maintain, highly durable.

• Downsides: The heaviest of the three options, though still within the "lightweight materials" range.

Modular Design with Kitchen Drawer, Storage Compartments & Folding Table

The Nissan Primastar & NV300 camper furniture kit includes a custom-built pull-out kitchen drawer designed to fit a Campingaz single-burner stove or larger models. Behind this drawer, there's an independent storage trunk with a top lid, offering practical space for cookware and camping gear.

At the center of the camper box, a multi-position folding table can be used both inside and outside the van. Inside, the table works in two main setups — a dining mode and a lounge mode, creating a comfortable living area (as clearly shown in the product video).

Behind the table, there's another storage trunk with a top lid, while the left-hand side of the kit features two additional trunks, one at the back and one toward the center.

• The rear trunk is custom-sized to fit a compressor fridge (such as the Coolzone 35L).

• The front trunk includes a frontal opening and can house a 12V external shower.

Altogether, the rear area of the van includes two top-access trunks and three front compartments, with the option to add two extra side modules if desired — providing maximum flexibility and organized storage (all clearly visible in the product video).

The compressor fridge can be positioned either in the rear trunk or in the front sliding drawer, depending on the customer's preference.
Keep in mind that the front sliding fridge module adds an additional 25 mm extension for smooth operation.

Smart Interior Layout with Left Storage Trunk, Modular Bed & Custom Mattress Pack

We recommend configuring the left storage trunk with dual opening — top and front access — as it makes the most efficient use of interior space. Based on our experience, this layout provides greater versatility: you can fit a water container for the 12V outdoor shower or even a portable toilet (Potti).

For practical reasons, we suggest placing the Potti inside the table compartment when stored, and moving it to the front area of the van when in dining mode. This keeps the left trunk free for water storage or general camping equipment.

The camper box also includes side modules that cover the wheel arches, creating a bed surface that spans wall to wall. Each module has a top lid, perfect for storing bedding on one side and used clothes or laundry on the other.

Although it's possible to request a double-drawer layout, we don't generally recommend it. While it may look appealing in photos, it significantly reduces usable space — essentially adding wood and rails inside wood. Over time, full-extension drawer slides can act as levers, which increases wear. For customers who insist, we use reinforced slides rated for 30–40 kg to ensure long-term durability.
